The aroma of fresh basil and dill from the fish-shaped herb-garden greet you as you approach Capt. Pete’s Seafood Restaurant. Swing open the stained-glass doors and you’ll be greeted by a friendly group of locals and a well stocked bar. Let Sean pour you a drink while you peruse the menu.

Enjoy your meal upstairs in the dining room or at the bar or better yet, have a drink and appetizer at the bar and your dinner upstairs to savor the best of both worlds.

Capt. Pete’s Seafood Restaurant offers a sophisticated menu in a casual setting. The menu is varied enough to have something for everyone even in a large picky group. Entrees like Almond Encrusted Snapper and Vodka Shrimp with Penne Pasta tempt the taste buds. If you have a hankering for fried seafood, the Panko Fried Scallops, Jumbo Fried Shrimp or Grouper Medalions take Calabash Style Seafood to the next level.

If your group has one of those land-loving oddballs that doesn’t like seafood, not to worry. The Grilled Ribeye and the Chicken Parmesan never fail to please. Children under 12 can dine on a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich or crispy chicken tenders off the children’s menu. The servings are plentiful and the dishes so delicious you’ll find it hard not to clean your plate. But try to save a little room for dessert.

Be sure to stay until the sun goes down, because the view of the sun setting over the waterway is spectacular from Capt. Pete’s year round.
